The food was delicious! And the service was wonderful. At first we were reluctant to pay extra for vegan cheese (massive pet hate of ours when you're charged extra for vegan products, or if you have the dairy products removed and they charge you the same), however, the extra £2 for the vegan cheese was well worth it after the owner came and spoke to us and explained that it's homemade with a special recipe. Honestly one of the best vegan cheeses we've had. He could easily make a business making this alone!
We had the vegan nachos to share for a starter, then a quesadilla and burrito. Very tasty and I love how they ask your required spice level.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The owner was incredibly helpful and I loved his passion for his food.

From the moment we walked in the door, the service was welcoming, and we knew that the food was going to be good.
We both ordered naked burritos, with my mam ordering the fajita chicken and me getting the beef brisket, and the portion sizes were just right. I also ordered the horchata as I had heard many good things, and rightly so, because it was delicious.
Overall, a 5 star experience from start to finish, and somewhere that I would come back to Hexham for just to have the food again.- Meal type

If you want authentic, great Mexican food this is the real deal! Fantastic home made and fresh!! Great juices and wonderful hot chocolate made from cocoa grown by the owner! Kids loved it and so did we! Wish we had this place in Leeds. A gem of a place!

Popped in for a margarita with a friend and her two dogs when visiting Hexham. Then came back for a meal a few hours later! Great food and a fun atmosphere. Also bought some chocolate to take away - the cacao nibs are delicious sprinkled over granola at breakfast!

This is one of those places that doesn't look like much from the outside, but as soon as you walk in you would swear you're in Mexico. The smells, music, people, and general vibe are great, and the food is easily the best Mexican food we've had. It tastes so authentic, down to the flavour of the maize flour they use, but is a tiny bit expensive, e.g. £2 for a 30ml(ish) tub of guacamole. The churros are a MUST. Outstanding dishes, decor and experience at this brilliant independent restaurant. This wonderful place would be a jewel in the crown of any city in the world; Hexham is incredibly lucky to have it, spicing up its night life and town centre. After a terrifically tasty burrito, I selfishly ordered their Tuesday Taco offer. I simply couldn’t get enough! Thank you and congratulations on your wonderful restaurant.

Great find whilst on holiday. Super friendly staff and brilliant service. Lovely food and drinks and so helpful we tried and tested all their chocolate samples and took some home. So good we have booked a table for tomorrow.

Fantastic wee place, I went in for dinner while on a work trip for a quick dinner and loved the food. Chose the Aztec soup and tacos which were both incredibly tasty with a great spice and deep flavour. Staff were friendly and was perfect for a quick, tasty dinner on my own.

Food was very good and the staff are really enthusiastic about there product, the young lad making up the food was really helpful with advice on what was available, heat levels and even showed us how the nacho/tortilla machine worked as they make them from scratch on site. On arrival this venue is small but looks quite authentic and is not part of a chain of restaurants.
Will who is s the owner of the restaurant gave us a full run down of the menu and specials on offer. Even though the menu is not extensive like some chain restaurants there is enough to tempt you into some tasty treats.
We ordered the Super Nachos and all the Nachos and tortillas are made fresh while you sit. The portion was great for sharing and came with ample toppings. Theses were delicious.
For our mains we ordered the classic platter of tacos and burritos and Will recommended we have some mixed fillings so we could taste the overall range of fillings. He was right the Chipotle Chicken Tacos were amazing and we then had a Pork Burrito and a Beef Burrito. Because my wife likes her food a bit more spicy he provided us with some habanero sauce to add, should we need it. Needless to say the Burritos were delicious but we had to take half of the pork and beef one home as we were so full.
We also took a double portion of the Pico de Gallo home also as it was once again knockout.
The only thing that was a problem was the food looked so tasty we just dived in and forgot to take photos of our wonderful platters.
The service was 110% as was the food and will return soon with our loyalty cards.

Delicious all day breakfast. Even the aztec soup was amazing! The coffee that comes with the breakfast is excellent too. Owner is very accommodating and it’s always a pleasure coming back. No pictures to show because we cleared the plates!!

The best Mexican food I've had in the UK. The guacamole is delicious with lots of fresh avocado and tomatoes. Had the three taco meal and the carnitas (pulled pork) was well seasoned and tender. It was clear all ingredients were fresh. Even watched them make tortillas! Everything was flavorful and seasoned without being spicy. The staff are friendly and warm.

Have revisited since we went 5 years ago (camping nearby) and the standards absolutely haven't slipped and everything was even better (actually didn't think it was possible). Kids loved the nachos, the tacos were amazing (chipotle chicken being my fave) and hubby enjoyed the burrito. P.S. The guacamole is 👌🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
